Barbershop Dream

My name is Nick and I have been a Barber for 7 years. I live in the small town of Vicksburg, MI with my wife and 2 young sons.Recently I was presented with an opportunity to buy a building AND a Barbershop in my small town I live in. The local Barber is thinking about retiring and is the only Barber in our town. I can not afford to take out a commercial loan for this. The shop I am currently in is in a multi unit building and we share a wall with a new business that will be producing almond products. This concerns me because I have a severe nut allergy and if I am exposed to the dust or ingredients they use it could cause very serious health issues including death. I was fortunate enough to run into the local Barber at the gas station one morning and he asked me if I was ready to buy. I want with all of my heart to become THE Barber in town that everyone goes to. My town is growing and right now is my time to shine. I am willing to put in the hours it takes to make this thrive. The building has been a Barbershop for around 80 years and I would love to keep that going. There is a beauty salon next door that would be paying rent to me while I am in the shop. My plan is to work Tuesday thru Friday 8:30-6:00 and Saturday 8:30-2:00. I will charge $15.00 for a mens haicut, $13.00 for seniors 60 years old and $13.00 for children under 13 years old. I would love to be able to make a cash offer so that I can hopefully start cutting there by the first of January 2015.
